Description:

The fibers,250μm,are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A FRP locates in the center of core as a non-metallic strength member. The tubes (and fibers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. After an Aramid yarn Strengthening layer is applied around the cable core. This part of cable accompanied with the stranded wires as the supporting part are completed with a polyethylene(PE) sheath to be figure 8 structure.

KT3006 Self-Supporting Fiber Optic Cable GYTC8A with APL Moisture Barrier

Description and Standards:

The KT3006 GYTC8A fiber optic cable is designed for durability and efficiency in aerial installations. It features fibers of 250μm placed within a loose tube composed of high-modulus plastic. The tube is filled with water-resistant filling compound to ensure fiber protection.

A Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) serves as the central strength member, around which the loose tubes and fibers are stranded to form a compact cable core. An aramid yarn layer enhances the cable's strength, while stranded wires act as the supporting structure in the figure-8 design. A polyethylene (PE) sheath surrounds the entire assembly, ensuring weather resistance.

The GYTC8A cable adheres to the YD/T 1155-2001 and IEC 60794-1 standards.
