The Micro Air-Blown Fiber Unit (MABFU) is an integral part of air-blown fiber cable systems, widely used for indoor optical fiber cabling, particularly in Europe, Japan, South Korea, and other global markets. MABFU is characterized by its small diameter, lightweight design, high flexibility, and optimal stiffness. It is engineered to be blown into microducts with a 5.0/3.5 mm diameter. Coated with soft acrylate resin, the fibers achieve excellent dimensional and thermal stability, while remaining easy to strip for seamless connections. The low-friction thermoplastic sheath, designed with unique grooves, enhances mechanical protection and blowing performance compared to conventional optical fiber cables.
